Republic P-47 Thunderbolt
Die Republic P-47 Thunderbolt wurde im 2. Weltkdflugzeug entworfen, später aber auch als Jagdbomber eingesetzt. Ihr Jungfernflug fand am 6. Mai 1941 statt. Im Laufe des Zweiten Weltkrieges wurden ca. 15.600 Thunderbolts produziert, die meisten von der Großserienvariante P-47D. Das Flugzeug war auf nahezu jedem Kriegsschauplatz im Einsatz.
